We Create Joy.
Babies are so sensitive to everything around them. We want to build a space that gives a new mom, in recovery from childbirth, what she needs to be able to give more of herself.
This is not the time to rely on Dr.Google to find answers from God knows who. We provide a wealth of information from experienced-based authorities to give you what you need to thrive.
Connect with trusted professionals who are generous enough to share an array of tips and tricks to learn from. These come in bite-size video clips to integrate the dense amount of information about specific topics that will address your needs and be able to easily refer back to.
Take Care of Yourself
What is the most important thing during this time? Rest. How do you get to rest during this time? Answers.
I have heard this time referred to as ‘unexpected’. It can be so stressful to navigate issues that may arise and to not forget about yourself. What can you do to help heal body trauma? What to eat to replenish your nutrients after giving birth? How do know what is ok with sleep training?
This process of finding the knowledge you need for best practices to navigate this transition will provide more time to bond with your precious new baby. We can’t rely only on instincts or partners to navigate the transition into parenthood. Knowing what to do is a learned behavior and can be given in a no-shame zone.

While volunteering with Baby Blues Connection I watched women suffering from perinatal mood disorders. These women were abandoned by their primary caregiver while unexpected issues were missing from any conversations. When things would arise that they didn’t know how to deal with or who to reach out to, their condition would decline rapidly making family rifts while losing valuable bonding time.
While interviewing these phenomenal practitioners I have learned so much about wellness and am so excited for you to be exposed to these passionate professionals dedicated to postpartum health.
Womb Pdx supports:
Our mission is to create an exceptional generation of professional doulas,
particularly BIPOC doulas, who can enter the workforce with sustainable
careers, improve maternal and infant health outcomes, and meet the everchanging needs of birthing and postpartum people.
Community Doula Alliance
Our primary focus is to provide support for survivors of
domestic violence to promote empowerment and change.
Statistics show that survivors are less likely to return to a violent
partner or repeat a domestic violence situation when they
participate in regular physical activity. Yoga promotes healing of
the body and mind, while providing a sense of power, strength
and well being.
